Lorna Simpson
Punta della Dogana
29 March – 22 November 2026
Punta della Dogana presents a major exhibition to American artist Lorna Simpson, presenting a comprehensive panorama of her work for the first time in Europe. Organized in partnership with the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York—where Simpson’s exhibition, ‘Source Notes’ is on view, the Venice iteration is curated by Emma Lavigne, General Director of the Pinault Collection and Chief Curator, in close collaboration with the artist.
Henry Moore & Sophie Taeuber-Arp
Peggy Guggenheim Collection
25 April – 19 October 2026
‘Peggy Guggenheim in London: The Making of a Collector’ explores Guggenheim’s formative years in London and her gallery Guggenheim Jeune (1938–39), a key platform for abstraction and Surrealism. Bringing together works by artists including Vasily Kandinsky, Piet Mondrian, Henry Moore and Sophie Taeuber-Arp, alongside archival material, the presentation highlights a pivotal moment in her development as a collector and patron.
Avery Singer
Palazzo Diedo, Berggruen Arts & Culture
4 May – 22 November 2026
Avery Singer features in a group show, ‘Strange Rules,’ curated by Mat Dryhurst, Holly Herndon and Hans Ulrich Obrist. The exhibition introduces the concept of Protocol Art, a practice that engages with the underlying rules that dictate how culture is produced, distributed and perceived in a digital age.
Alexander Calder & Fausto Melotti
Casa Sanlorenzo
6 May – 30 June 2026
‘Waves’ is a group exhibition at Casa Sanlorenzo, curated by Sergio Risaliti, Artistic Director of Museo Novecento in Florence, and Cristiano Seganfreddo, with the scientific support of Ersilia Vaudo Scarpetta. The installation will showcase the work of masters of modern art and sculpture such as Alexander Calder, Fausto Melotti, Lucio Fontana and Tony Cragg, alongside emerging contemporary artists including Christine Safa, and visual artists Friederich Andreoni and Marcello Maloberti.
