A Special Edition of Ursula Magazine for Venice
Making Waves: A conversation between Lorna Simpson and Jason Moran
Looking ahead to the opening of La Biennale di Venezia 2026, Ursula magazine presents its first-ever special edition, a preview of the cover story from our forthcoming print issue devoted to Lorna Simpson on the occasion of her exhibition now on view at Punta della Dogana in Venice. The special edition, with a striking color-saturated cover by Simpson, includes a wide-ranging conversation between her and the musician and composer Jason Moran, a longtime collaborator, about the affinities between art and music.
This special edition, produced in partnership with Bottega Veneta, is available exclusively in Venice in select locations around the city, including Punta della Dogana, from early May through the duration of the Biennale.—Randy Kennedy, editor in chief
