On the occasion of Louise Bourgeois’s first exhibition in Hong Kong, Hauser & Wirth has organized a panel discussion featuring leading scholars and museum professionals to shed light on the various facets of her work. Moderated by Shanghai-based critic Shen Qilan, the panel will include the art historian and writer Briony Fer; Jerry Gorovoy, who worked as the artist’s assistant from 1980 to 2010 and is now President of the Foundation that administers her legacy; Philip Larratt-Smith, curator of the current exhibition tour “The Eternal Thread” at the Long Museum, Shanghai and the Song Art Museum, Beijing; Wang Duan, Artistic Director of the Song Art Museum; and Wang Wei, Director of the Long Museum.
