Late Night Opening: Sit, Feast

As part of Bruton Festive Spirit, join us for a late night opening of sit, feast at Stockwell House—a hybrid installation and pop-up shop that brings together a diverse group of creatives to explore the power of designed objects as catalysts for connection.

At its center, sit, feast is a communal dining table populated by a constellation of objects, where distinct styles, materials and practices coexist in dialogue. Among the featured works are Natalia Triantafylli’s hand-built ceramics with 3D-printed counterparts, Stine Keinicke’s tactile, functional objects that reimagine industrial manufacturing, Six Dots Design’s sculptural raw aluminium pieces, and Andrew Pierce Scott’s chance-led creations that elevate salvaged scrap metal, fabric, paper, and timber.

Rather than presenting design as something to be viewed from a distance, every object is intended to be touched, used and tasted with, bringing us back to the core relationship we have with materials through the bonding act of sitting and eating together.

The installation is on view from 27 November – 5 December, 10 am – 5 pm. All objects are available for purchase.

Participating Designers

The installation will be activated on Friday 4 December and Saturday 5 December 2026 via two NAUGHTY DARN supper clubs, where the table becomes a site of exchange, play and celebration. Hosted by DARN, in collaboration with Naughty Nonnas, the evenings will combine communal dining with drawing, table doodling and conversation, transforming the installation into a living, participatory experience. Throughout the week, all objects featured in the installation will be available for purchase, allowing visitors to take home a piece of the experience and the memories created around the table.

About sit, feast
sit, feast edition for Stockwell House is curated by designers Ambra Dentella and Elliot Lunn, two friends who met during their time at the Royal College of Art in London, UK, who cooked for each other countless nights while living together. This edition builds on the original sit, feast concept presented at Milan Design Week 2024, which Ambra Dentella co-created alongside Janice Li and Anne Zhou to bring their creative London community around the table.

Key collaborators for this edition are:

  • Matteo Bandi for art direction and visual design, shaping the exhibition’s overall identity and aesthetic language

  • DARN for hosting the supper clubs through doodling and games designed to encourage conversation, individuality and connection around the table

  • Naughty Nonnas for cooking for the supper clubs, with a focus on big flavours, generous portions and food designed to be shared and enjoyed together

  • Janice Li for providing invaluable curatorial mentorship, strategic direction, and critical guidance
