Hauser & Wirth’s inaugural exhibition in Paris will debut new works by critically acclaimed Los Angeles artist Henry Taylor, whose major career survey arrives at The Whitney Museum of American Art in New York on 4 October 2023 and will remain on view through January 2024.

February in LA: A Constellation of Exhibitions and Events

18 January 2023

We are pleased to announce the launch of our fourth decade with a constellation of events in Los Angeles—a world city that is both a major American cultural capital and a prime source of inspiration and energy for the gallery since its founding in 1992. To mark the moment, the gallery will debut exhibitions and public programs spanning LA from its Downtown Arts District location in the converted historic Globe Mills complex, to its new space in the heart of West Hollywood.

Hauser & Wirth Paris to Open

1 June 2022

We are pleased to announce our plans to open a new gallery in Paris, situated on the right bank of the River Seine close to the Champs-Élysées in the 8th arrondissement. Occupying an entire hôtel particulier dating from 1877, the gallery at 26 bis rue François 1er will cover 800 square meters over four floors. The neo-classical building formerly housed La Maison Decour, a decorative arts gallery, until the 1940s. The conversion of the space will reinstate the double-height, six-meter-tall ground floor gallery with a further exhibition space on the first floor. As in Hauser & Wirth’s existing locations, we will establish meaningful partnerships to create an inclusive learning program as an integral part of the gallery’s program in Paris.
