Pushing Forward Back
9 October - 19 November 2016
Bruton Art Factory, Somerset
Bruton Art Factory, in collaboration with Hauser & Wirth Somerset, are delighted to present a solo exhibition of new work by artist Paul Desborough. ‘Pushing Forward Back’ will feature a selection of painted sculptures and drawings. Often site-specific, Desborough’s work blurs the boundaries between sculpture and installation, exploring the formal limits of painting and its relationship to art historical canons. The works on display were conceived whilst Desborough was in residence at Hauser & Wirth Somerset at The Maltings in Bruton from the period of February to September 2016.
