Arthaus Private View: Louise Bourgeois and Fabian Peake

Join us for a private view of our two autumn exhibitions, ‘Louise Bourgeois. Drawing Intimacy 1939 – 2010’ and ‘Fabian Peake. an eye either side’, especially for young people aged between 15 – 19 years.

About Arthaus Arthaus is designed specifically for  15 – 19 year olds who are interested in art and architecture. The group meet on the first Wednesday of every month, 4.30 – 6 pm, where they have the opportunity to meet artists, the gallery team and industry specialists in a series of events, such as workshops and talks.

About Louise Bourgeois Louise Bourgeois is one of the most important and influential artists of the twentieth century. ​Curated by Benjamin Shiff, ‘Louise Bourgeois. Drawing Intimacy 1939-2010’ shares with the viewer an extraordinary grouping of works from the artist’s private collection, many of which are being exhibited for the first time.

About Fabian Peake  Fabian Peake emerged as a painter on the London art scene in the late 1960s. ‘Fabian Peake. an eye either side’ is a celebration of Peake’s broad and multifaceted career, as both an artist and writer. Spanning six decades, the exhibition encompasses early paintings from the 1970s onwards and will showcase Peake’s playful and experimental use of diverse media.
