Selection of books in this year’s donation program
New Books on Women Artists in Menorca’s Libraries
We continue to partner with the local network of libraries through a donation program
Following last year’s book donation and learning initiative, we have continued to work with Menorca’s local libraries to expand their art book collection. In 2023, the selection of titles consists of titles on women artists as well as other art books authored by women, chiming with Christina Quarles’ exhibition ‘Come In From An Endless Place,’ which is on view in Menorca until 29 October.
Featuring books in Catalan, Spanish and English for children and adults, the selection includes celebrated titles such as ‘The Story of Art Without Men’ by Katy Hessel and children’s book ‘Louise Bourgeois Made Giant Spiders and Wasn’t Sorry,’ as well as Hauser & Wirth Publishers titles including ‘Cindy Sherman: 2023’ and ‘Phyllida Barlow: Collected Lectures, Writings, and Interviews.’
The books are now available in the libraries. In collaboration with Xarxa de Biblioteques de Menorca and Consell Insular de Menorca.
