Hauser & Wirth Menorca has concluded its fifth season on Illa del Rei, welcoming over 72,358 visitors from Saturday 10 May to Saturday 25 October 2025. On view were solo exhibitions by Mika Rottenberg and Cindy Sherman; a dedicated presentation of Eduardo Chillida’s work; an outdoor sculpture trail featuring works by Phyllida Barlow, Eduardo Chillida, Gary Simmons and David Zink Yi; and the Education Lab ‘Play Your Part,’ inspired by the exhibitions.

Returning to Paris for its fourth presentation in the city, the project featuring recent paintings from Leonardo Devito will be located on the second floor of our Paris gallery.

Returning to Zurich for its third presentation in the city, the project featuring recent paintings from Patrick Salutt will be located on the ground floor of our Limmatstrasse gallery and will complement our ongoing series of exhibitions by gallery artists on the upper floor.

Next year in Venice, Punta della Dogana will dedicate a major exhibition to American artist Lorna Simpson, presenting a comprehensive panorama of her work for the first time in Europe. Organized in partnership with the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York—where Simpson’s exhibition, ‘Source Notes’ is on view through 30 November 2025—the Venetian iteration is curated by Emma Lavigne, General Director of the Pinault Collection and Chief Curator, in close collaboration with the artist.

This Fall, the Learning team was thrilled to invite three Hauser & Wirth artists to participate in ‘Art Work’ mentorship programs across our New York and Los Angeles locations. Launched in 2014, ‘Art Work’ is an artist-led initiative serving young people aged 16+ who are eager to explore creative career opportunities. The global program highlights practical pathways into arts professions and cultivates confidence that empowers our next generation to forge meaningful connections and broaden their aspirations for the future.

Experience outdoor artworks by Rashid Johnson, Larry Bell, Mika Rottenberg and Jeffrey Gibson throughout New York City, including monumental bronzes and interactive installations. Rashid Johnson opens his Guggenheim Museum exhibition ‘A Poem for Deep Thinkers,’ his largest presentation to date, with a steel outdoor sculpture that welcomes viewers into the famous rotunda. Visitors to Madison Square Park will explore Larry Bell’s first public art commission in New York City, spanning the entirety of the park and changing in appearance as the seasonal light changes. Visit the High Line to activate Mika Rottenberg’s sculpture ‘Foot Fountain (pink),’ which shoots water from a spout at the top when people activate the pedals nearby. Uptown at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Jeffrey Gibson presents the 2025 Genesis Facade Commission ‘The Animal That Therefore I Am’ that adorns the building’s exterior with four animals that are commonly found in the nearby Central Park.

Ursula magazine are pleased to present two special installations by Sonia Boyce at Dover Street Market (DSM) in London as part of Frieze 2025 celebrations. Presented in collaboration with Hauser & Wirth, Boyce’s installations will be on display on the Ground Floor and Third Floor at DSM.

Monday 13 October
Studio Fabio Mauri are proud to announce the launch of the Fabio Mauri Catalogue Raisonné on the centenary of the Italian artist—one of the first in art history to be entirely published online. Released on 13 October 2025, just a few months before the centenary of the artist’s birth, the digital version of the catalogue raisonné of Mauri’s work precedes the print edition that will be published in 2026.

Cliodhna Murphy, Hauser & Wirth’s Global Head of Environmental Sustainability, has been appointed as Trustee of Gallery Climate Coalition (GCC). Cliodhna joins GCC at a pivotal juncture in the organization’s journey to decarbonize the visual arts sector. As GCC mark’s its 5th anniversary—midway between its 2020 founding and the 2030 target to reduce sector-wide CO₂ emissions by 50%—Cliodhna’s participation as Trustee arrives at a moment of reflection, renewal and ambition for the organization. Trustees are selected based on their enthusiasm for, and alignment with, GCC’s goals and their ability to further them.

Saturday 4 October
As part of our ongoing commitment to facilitating dialogue and disseminating information with the global art community, Sustainability in Action provides a dynamic platform for industry collaboration, dialogue and knowledge sharing. This iteration of Sustainability in Action took place over a one-day symposium hosted by Hauser & Wirth and Emerson Collective in New York City. The program gathered a vibrant mix of scientists, artists, entrepreneurs and change makers to explore bold ideas for a healthier planet. The day featured roundtable discussions centered on optimism, community and identifying solutions for strengthening the long-term health of our planet.
