We are pleased to announce the launch of our fourth decade with a constellation of events in Los Angeles—a world city that is both a major American cultural capital and a prime source of inspiration and energy for the gallery since its founding in 1992. To mark the moment, the gallery will debut exhibitions and public programs spanning LA from its Downtown Arts District location in the converted historic Globe Mills complex, to its new space in the heart of West Hollywood.

The first volume of the catalogue raisonné for contemporary Chinese artist Zeng Fanzhi is now available. Focusing on the first twenty years of the artist’s career, this landmark publication is the culmination of a six-year-long research project, drawing from a wide range of sources and documentation and presented according to international scholarly methodology.

A virtual reality tour of ‘Zeng Fanzhi. In the Studio’ spanning three Hauser & Wirth locations in Zurich, London and Hong Kong. The exhibition allows viewers the opportunity to gain an unprecedented and in-depth understanding of the bold development of the artist’s creative process as each locale features new works which have not been previously exhibited.
