Step into a weekend where drawing takes over. The Royal Drawing School’s Drawing Weekender reimagines the architecture and gardens of Hauser & Wirth Somerset as a vibrant, site-wide studio.

Led by artists and tutors from the Royal Drawing School, the program combines workshops, talks and collaborative activity with open-ended, exploratory moments across site.

Draw outdoors in Oudolf Field, join focused sessions with models inside the Durslade Farmhouse, or gather in the Radić Pavilion for artist-led conversations and classes. Free, drop-in life drawing sessions run throughout the weekend, alongside site-responsive drawing prompts across the landscape.

This is not a course—it is a festival of drawing, experimentation and discovery. Move between structured sessions and spontaneous moments, and let your creativity unfold.

This event is open to all with activities designed for both adults and children (10 years and above). The program includes free and ticketed events, with both bookable and drop-in sessions.

Please note that the garden and gallery will be open alongside this event. Explore Oudolf Field from 10 am and our exhibition ‘Angel Otero⁠. Agua Salada’ from 12 pm.

Farm Shop will be open from 9 am and Da Costa will be taking lunch reservations from 12 pm.
