To celebrate ‘Louise Bourgeois. Drawing Intimacy 1939 – 2010’, join us for a private, after-hours walkthrough of the exhibition with writer Claire-Louise Bennett and journalist Charlie Porter.

The guided tour will provide a unique opportunity to explore key themes within the presentation, as well as discuss Bourgeois’s prolific career spanning multiple mediums over several decades.

Tickets are free, however we encourage attendees to donate to our 2022 – 2023 charity partners: Art Bank in Shepton Mallet, BruBowl in Bruton and The Growing Space in Wincanton. We recommend booking your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.

About the exhibition
‘Louise Bourgeois. Drawing Intimacy 1939 – 2010’ is an extraordinary grouping of works from the artist’s private collection. The paintings, sculpture and works on paper, many of which are exhibited publicly for the first time, reflect Bourgeois’s multiplicity of mind and material. The exhibition is on view at Hauser & Wirth Somerset until Monday 2 January 2023.
