In Conversation: ‘Rift’ Material Language

To celebrate our current exhibition ‘Rift’ at Make Hauser & Wirth Somerset, artist-makers Adam Buick, Harry Morgan and Nic Webb will join gallery director Jacqueline Moore for a live conversation and open Q&A.

All three artist-makers have presented new bodies of work for the exhibition that push material boundaries and interrogate contemporary craft practice. The discussion will explore how through acts of intervention and manipulation, the collective works reveal an evolving dialogue and interplay between material and maker. Buick, Morgan and Webb have each drawn influence from Eduardo Chillida’s sculptural practice for this exhibition, the conversation will expand on these relationships in connection to the Chillida works on view at Hauser & Wirth Somerset.
