Family Saturday: Stitch

Hauser & Wirth Somerset invites families into the gallery for Family Saturday on the first Saturday of every month. These free sessions offer families a unique experience of art, design, and nature. This summer we are celebrating our current exhibition, ‘Unconscious Landscape. Works from the Ursula Hauser Collection’ with three special Family Saturdays: Stitch (6 July), Sculpt (3 August) and Show (7 September). In ‘Stitch’ we will find out more about the artists in the exhibition who have used fabric and textiles in their work. We will learn how to use different stitch and sewing techniques to create artworks that are functional, decorative and full of meaning.
