Conversations on Collecting: How to Start A Collection with Freya Mitton

To coincide with the exhibition, ‘Unconscious Landscape. Works from the Ursula Hauser Collection’, we are holding a series of events around the topic of collecting. Join specialist Freya Mitton for this enlightening talk on the dynamics and process of starting your own art collection. Freya Mitton established herself as an independent dealer in 2012, specialising in 20th Century British Art. Previously she was in charge of the Modern British sales at Sotheby’s Olympia, now she exhibits at a number of specialist Art Fairs, both in London and regionally and is based in Somerset where she also continues to conduct auctions for charity and commercially. She is co-founder of the Connect Fair, held annually in February and was elected to BADA in 2017. This is a free event, but booking is necessary. Includes a welcome drink on arrival.
