Family Garden Workshop: Earth Day

Get hands-on in the garden during your gallery visit with crafts and planting activities led by educators Tashanda Giles-Jones and Elizabeth Hall from the Garden School Foundation. For this month’s workshop we will learn about companion planting for the warm season and celebrate Earth Day by designing a garden using recycled materials. Garden School Foundation is responsible for the teaching gardens at the 24th Street School in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles, along with six additional Title I elementary schools across the city.
