Join artist and film-maker Karen Guthrie for an informal talk about her work and residency at Hauser & Wirth Somerset. Guthrie is taking part in the Soil Culture Residency, which Hauser & Wirth Somerset is delivering in partnership with the Centre for Contemporary Art and the Natural World (CCANW). The aim of Soil Culture is to use the arts to inspire a deeper public understanding of the importance of soil – a resource on which the whole of civilization depends, but which many take for granted. The residency focuses on exploring the soils around local food production.
