Woodland Sessions

Join us for a talk by Adrian Cooper and Martin Self, who will speak about their recent collaborative project at Hooke Park, Dorset, looking at the relationship between art, architecture, and the woodland. Adrian Cooper is Director of Common Ground, an environmental charity based in Dorset, established in 1985 by Sue Clifford, Angela King and nature writer Roger Deakin. Adrian Cooper also co-runs Little Toller Books, an independent publishing company focusing on books about rural life and local history. Martin Self is Director of Hooke Park, the Dorset campus of the Architectural Association School of Architecture. He is an engineer and designer who has taught at the Architectural Association since 2004. He worked at Ove Arup & Partners where he was a founding member of the Advanced Geometry Group, studied architectural theory at the AA and has consulted with such practices as Zaha Hadid Architects and Antony Gormley Studio.
