Wine Festival

Join us for our first annual Wine Festival at Durslade Farm this Spring. The focus this year will be on Austrian, Hungarian and English wines, organised by industry experts – Austrian wine grower Rainer Garger, Master of Wine Anna Krebiehl and Jason Yapp from Yapp Bros in Mere, England. This talented team will play host to 12 artisan growers who will be in residence over the weekend, showcasing their wines all day on Saturday 23 April from 11 am until 4.30 pm. The inaugural event will be based on the tradition of a ‘celebratory village wine festival’, with glasses for tastings available at £10 each on the day – the wine is complimentary. Bottles and cases will be available for purchase and there is no need to book, just turn up and enjoy. The celebrations will start with a three course Wine Tasting Dinner on Friday 22 April, followed by a series of Masterclasses, led by Anna Krebiehl, on Saturday 23 April. Guests will have the opportunity to find out more about the land, the growers and why these artisanal wines are so special, whilst tasting some delicious options along the way.
