Join architect John Glew, Niall Hobhouse and members of their Summer Drawing Workshop in the Radić Pavilion for an open discussion on a pin-up display of the work produced by the students, artists and practitioners who took part on the course. The Summer Drawing Workshop takes place over one week from Sunday 14 August at Shatwell Farm in Somerset. The experimental workshop takes place in the farmyard, part of a valley landscape, and is aimed at those intrigued by the ‘drawing’ element in design thinking. Participants will make their own drawings and engage in a range of speculative projects, working with the landscapes around them and ideas from the Drawings Collection. The collection includes a vast range of work by famous and obscure architects, designers, draughtsman and artists from the 16th century until today. We invite you to join the participants to review and discuss their work from this inspiring week of drawing.
