2 – 5 September 2026
Stand A21
We return to Frieze Seoul this year with a presentation of exceptional works spanning multiple generations. Historic master works by Phyllida Barlow, Louise Bourgeois, Lee Lozano and Jack Whitten will feature alongside leading international contemporary voices, including Frank Bowling, George Condo, Jeffrey Gibson, Jenny Holzer, Rashid Johnson, Glenn Ligon, Angel Otero, Qiu Xiaofei, Lorna Simpson, Avery Singer and Ambera Wellmann.
Coinciding with the fair, Glenn Ligon presents ‘Black Moons,’ his first solo exhibition in South Korea at APMA Cabinet (14 August – 5 September), bringing together his monochromatic moon jars, which directly engage with Korean craft heritage, with landmark text-based paintings from his Static and Redacted series.
