Curatorial Tour of ‘Josephsohn / Märkli. A Conjunction’

  • 1 October 2018

For the opening weekend of ‘Josephsohn / Märkli. A Conjunction’ Hauser & Wirth Somerset hosted an exhibition tour led by the show’s curator Niall Hobhouse, alongside Ulrich Meinherz, Director of Kesselhaus, which is a museum in St Gallen, Switzerland dedicated to Josephsohn’s life and work.

Hobhouse and Meinherz worked together to bring about 'A Conjunction', an exhibition which examined the intense and longstanding collaboration between Josephsohn and Märkli, exploring what two very different disciplines – sculpture and architecture – can offer the other as insight, and about the generosity and humanity of such an exchange. The exhibition ‘Josephsohn / Märkli. A Conjunction’ ran from 30 September 2017 – 1 January 2018 at Hauser & Wirth Somerset.
