Experience outdoor artworks by Rashid Johnson, Larry Bell, Mika Rottenberg and Jeffrey Gibson throughout New York City, including monumental bronzes and interactive installations. Rashid Johnson opens his Guggenheim Museum exhibition ‘A Poem for Deep Thinkers,’ his largest presentation to date, with a steel outdoor sculpture that welcomes viewers into the famous rotunda. Visitors to Madison Square Park will explore Larry Bell’s first public art commission in New York City, spanning the entirety of the park and changing in appearance as the seasonal light changes. Visit the High Line to activate Mika Rottenberg’s sculpture ‘Foot Fountain (pink),’ which shoots water from a spout at the top when people activate the pedals nearby. Uptown at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Jeffrey Gibson presents the 2025 Genesis Facade Commission ‘The Animal That Therefore I Am’ that adorns the building’s exterior with four animals that are commonly found in the nearby Central Park.

Ursula magazine are pleased to present two special installations by Sonia Boyce at Dover Street Market (DSM) in London as part of Frieze 2025 celebrations. Presented in collaboration with Hauser & Wirth, Boyce’s installations will be on display on the Ground Floor and Third Floor at DSM.

Cliodhna Murphy, Hauser & Wirth’s Global Head of Environmental Sustainability, has been appointed as Trustee of Gallery Climate Coalition (GCC). Cliodhna joins GCC at a pivotal juncture in the organization’s journey to decarbonize the visual arts sector. As GCC mark’s its 5th anniversary—midway between its 2020 founding and the 2030 target to reduce sector-wide CO₂ emissions by 50%—Cliodhna’s participation as Trustee arrives at a moment of reflection, renewal and ambition for the organization. Trustees are selected based on their enthusiasm for, and alignment with, GCC’s goals and their ability to further them.

Studio Fabio Mauri are proud to announce the launch of the Fabio Mauri Catalogue Raisonné on the centenary of the Italian artist—one of the first in art history to be entirely published online. Released on 13 October 2025, just a few months before the centenary of the artist’s birth, the digital version of the catalogue raisonné of Mauri’s work precedes the print edition that will be published in 2026.

As part of our ongoing commitment to facilitating dialogue and disseminating information with the global art community, Sustainability in Action provides a dynamic platform for industry collaboration, dialogue and knowledge sharing. This iteration of Sustainability in Action took place over a one-day symposium hosted by Hauser & Wirth and Emerson Collective in New York City. The program gathered a vibrant mix of scientists, artists, entrepreneurs and change makers to explore bold ideas for a healthier planet. The day featured roundtable discussions centered on optimism, community and identifying solutions for strengthening the long-term health of our planet.

Calder Gardens, a new cultural destination dedicated to the art of Alexander Calder, opened to the public on 21 September. Located on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway between 21st and 22nd Streets, the 1.8-acre site was designed to immerse visitors in a space that catalyzes reflection and renewal, highlighting the interplay between art, architecture, and landscape-an open invitation to interpretation and discovery.
