Family Saturday

Hauser & Wirth Somerset invites families into the gallery for Family Saturday on the first Saturday of every month. These free sessions offer families a unique experience of art, design and nature. Join us for a special Family Saturday celebrating local festivities at The Bruton Festival of Arts, a month long series of events culminating in the annual Packhorse Fair taking place on the 27 May. We will also be exploring the exhibition ‘Matthew Day Jackson. Pathetic Fallacy’. We shall be inspired by Jackson’s still life drawings of flowers collaged out of paper and fabric, and will be exploring multimedia approaches to making our own floral creations – with hidden Brutonian secrets! Following the session, families are invited to create their own flower crowns using seasonal flowers and foliage in Roth Bar & Grill courtyard. Drop by between 10.30 – 2 pm. Booking is essential.
