Open Source Salon: Viv Groskop & ‘Beyond the Town’ Book Launch

Hauser & Wirth Somerset is delighted to welcome comedian, author, BBC Radio 4 presenter, and Brutonian Viv Groskop for Open Source Salon to celebrate the launch of new book ‘Beyond the Town: Conversations of Art and Land’. Having been raised in Bruton, attending Bruton Primary School and Bruton School for Girls, Groskop’s contributing essay for the book titled ‘The Brutonian Universe’ is a solo in a chorus of essays, interviews and artworks that detail the history and 21st-century renaissance of Durslade Farm and Bruton. Groskop will be in conversation with locally based journalist, author and co-contributor, Caroline Donald. Open Source Salon is a discussion group for like-minded creatives and enthusiasts who meet to exchange ideas, hear special guest speakers, and enjoy local food and drink. Each salon consists of a specially invited speaker who will share their unique knowledge and experience on one of the four key themes at the heart of Hauser & Wirth Somerset – Art, Architecture, Landscape, Food. Open Source Salon is a collaboration between Hauser & Wirth Somerset and Roth Bar & Grill. 6.30 pm Glass of  Cote de Gascogne red or white wine on arrival 7 pm In conversation 8 pm Dinner Menu
