Incarnate: A Performance Event

*Definition of incarnate (adj) in*car*nate 1.made human: having a bodily form, especially a human form 2.personified: being the epitome of something* This special performance will be the culmination of 9 days work by 25 young people who will participate in a unique summer school devised by Hauser & Wirth Somerset in partnership with Bristol Old Vic. The students will spend a fortnight working with an Old Vic director and their team, to create a brand new piece of theatre, taking their inspiration from the extraordinary sculptural work of Phyllida Barlow. The performance will take place promenade style in and amongst Barlow’s exhibition at Hauser & Wirth Somerset. This is a ticketed event commencing at 6 pm. Tickets are £15 and include a family barbecue in the Roth Bar & Grill after the performance. All proceeds go to the Old Vic Theatre. This event has now sold out.
