Somerset Spring Workshop Hand-printed Pattern Papers

This workshop takes its inspiration from The Curwen Press pattern papers of the late 1920s and the work of Enid Marx, Lovat Fraser and Eric Ravilious. The day will begin with an informal talk about the original papers and then the focus will be on designing, cutting and printing Lino blocks. These will be used to make repeat pattern papers and borders to decorate sample writing paper, envelopes, address labels, stickers, and to cover a small notebook. This workshop will be delivered by Penny Grist, Printmaker. All materials provided. No experience necessary. Tickets £90 to include refreshments and lunch from the Roth Bar & Grill
