Family Saturday

Hauser & Wirth Somerset invites families into the gallery for Family Saturday on the first Saturday of every month. These free sessions offer families a unique experience of art, design and nature. Join us for a Family Saturday exploring the work of Susan Philipsz. Susan Philipsz is known for her sound art, she has produced a site-specific piece for our Threshing Barn and Cloister called As Many As Will. In this session families will be guided around the exhibition and then children will be taught traditional country dance. The final performance will see children dancing barefoot, using inkpads to print their footprints into a giant image of their performance. This is a free event, however advanced booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. Please meet at Front Desk at 10 am.
