On the occasion of 'Panza Collection Archives', please join us for a conversation between Jennifer Higggie (frieze) and Giuseppina Panza (Panza Collection).

Giuseppe and Giovanna Panza were passionate collectors who, over a period of more than fifty years, built an extraordinary contemporary art collection including works by minimal and conceptual artists from both America and Europe. The discussion will explore the evolution and shape of the collection, and will coincide with the website launch of the Panza Collection Archives.

Speakers

Jennifer Higgie is a writer and editorial director of frieze.

Giuseppina Panza is the daughter of Giuseppe Panza and Director of the Panza Collection.

She began working on the Panza Collection in 1988, organising the archival material belonging to the art-works her father had collected. During this time she became increasingly involved in  the collection and began to build important relationships with gallerists, artists, curators and museum directors.

Since her father’s death, she has been appointed Director of the collection and Curator of Exhibitions. She is committed to keeping the collection alive and visible in museums and through exhibitions.
