Thu 30 Aug 2018, 2 – 4 pm This Summer, Hauser & Wirth Somerset is delighted to be taking part in its second Architectural Drawing Summer School, organised in collaboration with Drawing Matter, Kingston University and Bruton School for Girls, with support from the Royal Fine Art Commission Trust. This one-week course is a unique opportunity for 30 A-Level students who have an interest in studying architecture to learn more about the subject at a fully funded week-long summer school. The course will focus on architectural sketching and drawing, offering students a defining experience at a crucial point in their intellectual and personal development. During the week students will be exposed to conversations and exercises set by many of the leading thinkers in architectural education today. At the end of the summer school, Hauser & Wirth Somerset is delighted to be holding an Open Review exhibition where visitors will have the chance to view the work that has been produced, and to meet the students and staff to explore their drawings and discuss their experiences. The Open Review will take place in the Implement Shed at Hauser & Wirth Somerset and refreshments will be served. This is a free event   Header image: Ed Dowding
