Tuesday 31 July – Wednesday 1 August, 10.30 am – 4 pm Young Artists Summer School is back with more creative fun to explore and more possibilities to learn through making art. This is a two-day workshop for children aged between 6 – 11 years. Children will take part in drawing challenges, making sculptures, and experimental printmaking in these fun summer workshops. Taking inspiration from the current exhibition ‘Alexander Calder. From the Stony River to the Sky’, as well as exploring the architecture and gardens at Durslade Farm, we will take part in a range of creative activities. Experienced artist educators Briony Brickell and George Cole, who regularly deliver Family Saturday and school workshops at Hauser & Wirth Somerset, will lead the workshops. These sessions are for children only; they should bring a packed lunch each day and wear suitable clothing. Cost for the 2 day workshop is £50
