Roni Horn: Mutability and Geology

And there’s this strange thing: you’re never sort of hidden; you always feel exposed in that landscape. But it makes it very beautiful as well. Roni Horn (b. 1955) has visited Iceland regularly since 1975. ‘Iceland taught me to taste experience,’ she has affirmed. ‘That’s possible here, because of the intensely physical nature of experience on this island.’
