In Concert: Chelsea Music Festival
Hauser & Wirth is delighted to partner with the Chelsea Music Festival for a live performance inspired by the visual artwork of renowned artist Lorna Simpson. The event features composer Jessica Mays who has been commissioned by the Festival to create a musical suite for ensemble in response to Simpson’s work and our gallery space. The night will also include selections by contemporary Icelandic Composer Anna Thorvaldsdottir, American icon Amy Beach, and Clara Schumann, whose legacy is the inspiration for this year’s Chelsea Music Festival.
