Beyond the gallery site, Durslade is a working farm. Hauser & Wirth Somerset will join over 200 farms across the UK for Open Farm Sunday, an annual initiative celebrating the diversity of British farming and the ways in which the countryside can be farmed, foraged and maintained.

Join us for a day of family-friendly activities, tours and workshops including:

• Tractor trailer rides to visit the cattle, sheep, crops and vineyard

• Foraging walks

• Meeting local suppliers and sampling the products in the Farm Shop

• Farm-themed activities with Jenna Doodles & Sing-a-ling

• Creative workshops such as charcoal drawing, nature journalling and wildflower crowns

• Live music from Ninotchka

This event is free, but advanced booking is recommended for the tours and workshops. There will be a limited number of spaces available on the day for walk-ins. Children of all ages are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Alongside Open Farm Sunday, we invite visitors to explore the garden from 10 am – 5 pm, and the gallery and Education Lab from 12 – 5 pm.
