Family Garden Workshop

  • Sun 21 May 2017
  • 12 pm

Get hands-on in the garden with educators from the Garden School Foundation. This workshop focuses on the first steps of growing a garden: starting and planting seeds. Families will make their own newspaper flower pots to transport seedlings to bring home. Participants also have the opportunity to create seed packets to share with their school or even a friend. Learn more about the Garden School Foundation’s seedling CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program from educators who will be onsite in the Public Garden. The Garden School Foundation is responsible for the teaching gardens at the 24 Street School in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles. This event is free, however, reservations are required. Click here to register.
