Join us for a hands-on Family Studio Workshop led by contemporary artist, cartoonist, and educator Matt MacFarland. For this seasonally-inspired workshop, families will create a ‘holiday’ painting, whether that means the typical winter scene of freshly fallen snow on pine trees, or the local version featuring a brilliant sunset behind a line of palm trees. Participants will draw their ‘invisible’ landscape using white wax crayons and the setting will then be revealed when watercolor paint is applied to the drawing.
