Culture In Action: Conversations in Social Practice with Tania Bruguera & Lucia Sanroman

In partnership with USC’s Roski School of Art and Design and KORO Public Art Norway, Hauser & Wirth Los Angeles is pleased to present a talk with artist and activist Tania Bruguera and curator Lucia Sanroman. Bruguera will address themes in social practice art, including the relationship between art and democracy, issues of sustainability for community-based socially engaged art, how to teach socially engaged art, and questions of how to measure its success. This talk is part of a lecture series that offers the Los Angeles community access to some of the most exciting artists, curators, and critics in the field of social practice art today.
