Our Frieze Los Angeles solo presentation of Conny Maier debuts alongside new exhibitions by Christina Quarles, and Arshile Gorky, as well as an exhibition presenting more than 80 works from the Eileen Harris Norton Collection, reflecting Harris Norton’s prescient vision and commitment to social justice and learning.
Join us in the courtyard at Downtown Los Angeles to kick off Frieze LA 2026 and celebrate the openings of ‘Destiny Is a Rose: The Eileen Harris Norton Collection’ and ‘Christina Quarles. The Ground Glows Black.’ Enjoy cash bars and food for sale by the gallery’s onsite restaurant Manuela and music by Chloëdees and BAE BAE. Stop by the Kiosk for the new exhibition catalogue accompanying ‘Destiny Is a Rose’ and the latest issue of Ursula Magazine, Issue 16.
In West Hollywood, join us for the opening of ‘Arshile Gorky. Horizon West,’ with an opening night screening of a film on the exhibition, followed by a talk with Gorky’s granddaughters and the film’s editor.

On the occasion of ‘Destiny Is a Rose: The Eileen Harris Norton Collection’ and the launch of the exhibition catalogue, please join us on Saturday 28 February at 11 am for a conversation with artists Gary Simmons, Lorna Simpson and Dr. Kellie Jones and curator Ingrid Schaffner.

On the occasion of ‘Christina Quarles. The Ground Glows Black’ – the artist’s first exhibition with the gallery in Los Angeles, please join us on Saturday 28 February at 12.30 pm for a conversation with Christina Quarles, writer, critic and editor, Sasha Bonét, and Curator and Executive Director at ICA LA, Anne Ellegood who will discuss Quarles’ latest body of work, which she created in the wake of the wildfires in Altadena.
A book signing will follow the conversation, on a first come first served basis.
