This winter, we celebrate major exhibitions and presentations by globally acclaimed artists in our native Switzerland. Experience a landmark exhibition by Gerhard Richter at the Nietzsche-Haus, the Segantini Museum and Hauser & Wirth St. Moritz, a presentation of Rita Ackermann’s first-ever frieze work at Le Grand Bellevue Gstaad, and exhibitions by Fausto Melotti, Lorna Simpson and Cathy Josefowitz in Zurich.

At the Crossroads of artistic insight and intellectual curiosity, we find The Edge of Reason—a new limited podcast produced in partnership with Atlantic Re:think. Hosted by Jeff Chang, gallery artists including Allison Katz, Nicolas Party, Christina Quarles, Thomas J Price, Pipilotti Rist, Lorna Simpson sit down to discuss the centuries-old enlightenment principles that inspire their work.

We are thrilled to introduce ‘Artists for New York’, a major initiative to raise funds in support of a group of pioneering non-profit visual arts organizations across New York City that have been profoundly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The J. Paul Getty Trust has announced that it will present the annual J. Paul Getty Medal, its highest honor, to artist Lorna Simpson, as well as Ed Ruscha and classicist Mary Beard. Established in 2013 by the trustees of the J. Paul Getty Trust, the J. Paul Getty Medal has been awarded to 11 distinguished individuals to honor their extraordinary contributions to the practice, understanding and support of the arts.
