What is a Learning Group Visit?
Visits to Hauser & Wirth Somerset are designed to be experiential, discursive and encourage an inquisitive mindset.
Visits will begin with a tour of the current exhibition at Hauser & Wirth Somerset, inviting creative responses to the art and artists. The visits are led by members of our Learning team and can be tailored to meet specific needs, interests and objectives.
The suggested schedule for a visit includes:

10.30 am – 12 pm: Gallery tour to learn about our artists in the current exhibition
12 – 12.45 pm: Lunch break in the Education Lab
12.45 – 1.45 pm: De-brief to explore ideas sparked by your visit through conversation, observation and creative responses
2 pm: Departure
Learning Group Size
The recommended ratio of school staff or adult helpers to students is 1:5 (aged 5 – 6), 1:10 (aged 7 – 10) and 1:15 (aged 11 – 18). The maximum group size is 50.
