Arthaus is an inclusive community of young people aged 15 – 19 years who share a passion for art. It is an opportunity to meet regularly at the gallery to connect with like-minded individuals, socialize, collaborate and embrace new experiences. It is a space for alternative voices, self-expression, inspiration and creative freedom.

Whether you are creative, curious or figuring out your next move, as an Arthaus member you will:

Get behind-the-scenes access

  • Learn how a gallery works and meet the people who make exhibitions happen, such as artists, curators and technicians

Meet our artists

  • Spend time with practising artists, explore how ideas become artworks, and learn about creative processes, materials and making

Share your ideas publicly

  • Create responses to exhibitions, collaborate with other young people, and see your ideas platformed through creative projects, social media and online resources

Level up your skills

  • Develop confidence and leadership by shaping our projects, building new skills and experiences that are useful beyond the gallery
