Arthaus is an inclusive community of young people aged 15 – 19 years who share a passion for art. It is an opportunity to meet regularly at the gallery to connect with like-minded individuals, socialize, collaborate and embrace new experiences. It is a space for alternative voices, self-expression, inspiration and creative freedom.
Whether you are creative, curious or figuring out your next move, as an Arthaus member you will:
Get behind-the-scenes access
Learn how a gallery works and meet the people who make exhibitions happen, such as artists, curators and technicians
Meet our artists
Spend time with practising artists, explore how ideas become artworks, and learn about creative processes, materials and making
Share your ideas publicly
Create responses to exhibitions, collaborate with other young people, and see your ideas platformed through creative projects, social media and online resources
Level up your skills
Develop confidence and leadership by shaping our projects, building new skills and experiences that are useful beyond the gallery
