Josephsohn at Yorkshire Sculpture Park

Hans Josephsohn (1920–2012) sought to capture the intimacy, experience and presence of the human form and this exhibition traces the evolution of his bold, immediate and highly physical way of working, from slim abstracted forms, reminiscent of ancient stone steles, to large half-figures and reclining sculptures, cast in brass and left unpainted.
