Join ArtReview and Ursula magazine for ‘Off the Record,’ a series of informal talks in Wine Bar at the Farm Shop Mayfair, in partnership with Berry Bros. & Rudd.
Held on the first Tuesday of every month from April to December 2025, these intimate and relaxed conversations bring together artists, thinkers and creatives to give an insight into their inspirations, processes and evolution of ideas. The series is a celebration of traditional conviviality, designed to be experienced live in a welcoming wine bar setting.
The third talk in the series will be with designers Martino Gamper and Max Lamb.

Our partner Berry Bros. & Rudd, Britain’s oldest wine and spirit merchant, will welcome each guest with a complimentary glass of wine from Domaine Arnaud Lambert, which produces vibrant wines in the heart of the Loire valley.
Tickets cost £14 per person, which includes a complimentary glass of wine, as well as a copy of ArtReview and Ursula magazines. Please note seats will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
An à-la-carte menu of small plates, charcuterie and wines will be available to purchase throughout the evening.
About Martino Gamper
Designer Martino Gamper OBE started as an apprentice with a furniture maker in Merano, Italy and then went on to study sculpture under Michelangelo Pistoletto at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, Austria. He completed a Masters in 2000 at the Royal College of Art in London, UK, where he studied under Ron Arad, before setting up his London studio in the same year. Working across disciplines, he engages in a variety of projects including exhibition design, interior design, one-off commissions, and the design of mass-produced products at the forefront of the design industry. His design commissions range from the Prada store windows, Valextra Flagship Stores, to chairs for Rubelli and Dior, glassware for Lobmeyr, and restaurants in the Dolomites. In 2023, Martino was awarded an OBE for services to design.

Max Lamb is a highly acclaimed and innovative designer celebrated for his distinctive contributions to the realms of furniture and product design. His pieces often embody a harmonious blend of functionality and artistic expression, challenging the conventional boundaries of design disciplines.
