The Big Draw Festival 2022: Schools Event

  • Fri 14 October 2022
  • 10 am – 3 pm

Join Hauser & Wirth Somerset for a schools event open to over 100 primary and secondary children to celebrate The Big Draw Festival 2022.

• Primary Schools Session: 10 am – 12 pm • Secondary Schools Session: 1 – 3 pm

Inspired by our autumn exhibitions, ‘Louise Bourgeois. Drawing Intimacy 1939 – 2010’ and ‘Fabian Peake. an eye either side’, we invite schools to come and draw without boundaries, celebrating colour, shape and line, in a series of interactive workshops. These workshops will be run by our Learning team and will take place in the galleries and garden.

Places are limited to 25 pupils per school. To book a place, please email education@hauserwirth.com. Please be advised that photographs will be taken at this event for use on the Hauser & Wirth website, social media and in other marketing materials.

‘Fabian Peake. an eye either side’ and ‘Louise Bourgeois. Drawing Intimacy 1939 – 2010’ run until 2 January 2023.

About The Big Draw Festival

The Big Draw is the world’s largest drawing festival. It connects people of all ages with museums, galleries, outdoor spaces, artists, designers, illustrators and each other. The theme for this year’s Big Draw is ‘Come Back to Colour’. It invites us to rediscover the vitality, health, care and vibrancy in everyone’s lives after what has been a challenging few years. Hauser & Wirth is a Sponsor Partner for The Big Draw Festival 2022.
