Open Farm Sunday

This June, we will be joining over 1,000 farms across the UK in Open Farm Sunday, an annual initiative celebrating the diversity of British farming and the countryside in association with LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming). Beyond the site of the gallery, Durslade is a working farm. At this special free event, families will discover first hand what it means to be a farmer, where our food comes from, and how to nurture and live in harmony with the countryside. We will be offering tours of Durslade Farm, as well as loads of free activities for families to get involved in: – Tractor and trailer rides – Meet the animals – Sheep shearing – Cider, juice and wine tasting – Vintage tractor display – Stalls and family activities – Hedgerow walks – Face painting – Spinning wheel and tapestry loom demonstrations – Roth Bar & Grill This is a free event and all are welcome.
