Schools Workshop: Blurring Boundaries

  • Fri 30 June 2017
  • 10 am – 2 pm

Join us for our very first ‘Blurring Boundaries’ workshop. These workshops are developed specifically for primary school pupils. Taking inspiration from the current exhibition ‘Rashid Johnson. Stranger’, this special workshop will encourage children to look at ways of responding to art through wider forms of making. Have you ever been to the theatre or watched a film and wondered who decides what the scenery look like? In this specially designed workshop for Key Stage 2 pupils, children will create a scale model of a room that they know well. Using wire, plasticine, toilet paper and glue to develop an environment for an artist to live in. This workshop is led by artist and set designer Jackie Brooks. 25 places available £5.00 per child All children should be accompanied by teaching staff
