Sustainability in Action

As part of our ongoing commitment to facilitating dialogue and disseminating information with the global art community, ‘Sustainability In Action’ provided a dynamic platform for action-focused industry collaboration, dialogue and knowledge sharing. The lineup of speakers included artist Pipilotti Rist, Artists Commit; Art/Switch; Art to Acres; Christie’s; ClientEarth; Kate MacGarry; Frances Morris, Tate Modern; Gallery Climate Coalition; Hospital Rooms; KiCulture; Paul Tukey of Glenstone Museum and SUPERFLEX. The day-long conference was a hybrid, digital and in real life event, uniting international arts sustainability networks, hosted by Hauser & Wirth CEO Ewan Venters and chaired by art writer, broadcaster and The Art Newspaper correspondent, Louisa Buck.

Exploring Form. Henry Moore and Stonehenge

We joined curator Hannah Higham of the Henry Moore Foundation, Mary Moore, the artist’s daughter and Neil Wilkin, curator of ‘The World of Stonehenge’ exhibition at the British Museum for a conversation celebrating ‘Henry Moore. Sharing Form.’ Moderated by writer and journalist Alastair Sooke, the talk discusses Moore’s seminal visit to Stonehenge in 1921 and its continued influence, as well as the exhibition’s themes addressing the power of form and our relationship between art and the human experience.

On the occasion of Hauser & Wirth Publishers’ recent release of ‘Marcel Duchamp,’ we joined writer and curator Helen Molesworth, and Los Angeles based artists Harry Dodge and Cauleen Smith for an exciting talk about the landmark publication, as well as the life and work of Marcel Duchamp. In addition, the event commenced with a live reading of Duchamp's ‘The Creative Act’ by filmmaker, artist and writer Miranda July.
