Open Farm Sunday 2026

Beyond the gallery site, Durslade is a working farm. Hauser & Wirth Somerset will join over 200 farms across the UK for Open Farm Sunday, an annual initiative celebrating the diversity of British farming and the ways in which the countryside can be farmed, foraged and maintained.

Join us for a day of family-friendly activities, tours and workshops including:

  • Tractor trailer rides to visit the cattle, sheep, crops and vineyard

  • Foraging walks

  • Meeting local suppliers and sampling the products such as wine, cider, preserved and foraged goods

  • Workshops with Wild Joy

  • Farm-themed activities and music circles with Jenna Doodles & Sing-a-ling

  • Live music from Ninotchka

This event is free, but advanced booking is recommended for the farm tours, vineyard visits and foraging walks There will be a limited number of spaces available on the day for walk-ins. Children of all ages are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Alongside Open Farm Sunday, you can explore the garden from 10 am – 5 pm, and the gallery and Education Lab from 12 – 5 pm. Our exhibition Angel Otero. Agua Salada’ is on view alongside an outdoor sculpture presentation featuring works by Jeffrey Gibson, Jenny Holzer, Angel Otero, Niki de Saint Phalle, Gary Simmons and Keith Tyson.⁠

Roth Bar will be serving food and drink from 9 am – 11 pm. Book a table at Da Costa for lunch from 12 – 4 pm. Farm Shop will be open from 9 am – 5 pm.
