Art, Architecture & Landscape School Workshops

Join us to explore current exhibitions ‘Don McCullin. The Stillness of Life’ and ‘Not Vital. SCARCH’ through a range of creative activities. The sessions allow students to explore themes associated with our human interaction with art, architecture and the landscape around us. ‘Don McCullin. The Stillness of Life’ is an exhibition of over 60 landscape photographs, demonstrating Sir Don McCullin CBE’s intimate relationship with the local landscape of Somerset and continued passion for global travel since the 60s. ‘SCARCH’ is a solo exhibition by Not Vital and organised with Olivier Renaud-Clément and Giorgia von Albertini. The multidisciplinary presentation highlight's the Swiss artist's deep-rooted interest in the relationship between architecture, landscape and human perception. Following an interactive exhibition tour, students will join our team for explorative practical workshops, introducing processes, materials and techniques inspired by the artists' work. The Art, Architecture & Landscape Workshops are available Tuesday to Friday, from January to May 2020, subject to availability.  To book please contact the education team on 01749 814 060 or email: education@hauserwirth.com Cost: £6 per child. Maximum 30 places available per workshop. Students should bring a sketchbook and pencil, a packed lunch and suitable clothing for creative work.
