  • Sat 3 November 2018
  • 9 – 10.30 am

Visually impaired visitors and their companions are invited to join audio describer Caroline Dawson for a tour of ‘Zeng Fanzhi. In the Studio’, the artist’s inaugural exhibition at Hauser & Wirth. This is the first event of its kind at the gallery. The human figure remains an essential theme throughout the artist’s career and Zeng describes the genre as a means of observing ‘the fundamental emotional state of humankind’. The figurative works on view reveal the aesthetic range of the artist as his approach has evolved. This presentation aptly demonstrates Zeng’s dedication to experimenting with a multiplicity of approaches over the course of three decades. Hearing support equipment and gallery chairs will be provided. If you have access needs of which you would like to make us aware please contact us here: selvi@hauserwirth.com or 0207 255 8966. Free to attend, booking essential. Please meet at the North Gallery near the corner of Conduit Street. Image: Zeng Fanzhi, Untitled, 2018 © Zeng Fanzhi
